The Beginning:

In the early 1990’s, Bruce’s construction career brought him and his wife, Carm, from Montgomery County to Western Maryland for a year-long project. During that time, in the evenings after work and on weekends they started offering property maintenance and small home repair services to their friends and neighbors. Over the course of that year, recognizing their love for the lake and the many opportunities the area had to offer, they made the decision to call Garrett County their forever home and Reliable Property Maintenace and Construction, LLC (RPM) was founded. Working together out of their home, Bruce and Carm’s days consisted of long days of work and raising their growing family. Over the next few years, as a result of hard work, reliability, quality workmanship, and happy customers, their company began to grow.

Present Day:

Over 30 years later, with thousands of successfully completed projects and satisfied customers to their credit, RPM is one of the areas oldest and most trusted construction companies. Thanks in large part to their loyal and returning customer base, RPM continues to grow year after year. Their daily operations these days could consist of anything from new custom home builds to light commercial construction projects, all while still offering the same core services that started the company.

The Future:

Moving forward, the future looks bright as RPM continues to grow and evolve. Their past and present employees have helped to pave the way for their success and are looking forward to what the future has in store. Bruce and Carm’s son, Davey, has taken on much of the day-to-day responsibility in recent years. His enthusiasm and work ethic is second to none, laying the foundation for a bright future for RPM.
